These Tallow Lotion Bars is what your skin didn't know it needed. This Tallow Lotion Bar is made from locally sourced beef fat, locally sourced beeswax, organic shea butter and organic coconut oil. 

WHY TALLOW?

Beef tallow is a form of rendered fat that comes from gently extracting extra fat deposits after processing beef. The fat is slowly melted to preserve nutrients and separated from the interior fat tissue called suet. Tallow contains high concentrations of fat-soluble Vitamins A, D and K in a balanced combination with their activators. This is a huge reason why beef tallow has such a profound impact on your skin & overall health. Grass-fed tallow also contains Vitamin E, anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial properties thanks to the high concentrations of essential fatty acids your skin needs, like conjugated linoleic acid, (CLA) and palmitoleic acid. 

We believe in eating nose to tail in our family & we also believe in supporting our local ranchers and farmers. Our beef fat is sourced from Pine Lake Beef Company right here in Lakeland, Florida! The Raney Family has been in the cattle industry for over 40 years and there is no one I would trust more with providing the highest quality beef and tallow. The beef fat is rendered right here in my kitchen. Like mentioned above, it is a slow process & takes about a week, start to finish, to render 4-5lbs of tallow. 

WHY BEESWAX?

Beeswax hydrates, conditions, soothes, and calms the skin. It exfoliates, repairs damage, promotes the skin's regeneration, diminishes the appearance of the signs of aging, soothes itchiness and irritation, and creates a hydrating, long-lasting protective barrier against environmental pollutants.  

Just like the tell you to eat local honey to help your immune system, I truly believe local beeswax is just as important! This is why we source our beeswax from Red Roof Farms right here in Lakeland, Florida.
